Company description
白內障是本港最常見的眼疾之一，亦是頭號視力殺手。2009年，於醫院管理局轄下醫院輪候進行白內障手術的病人，約有5萬4千多人，其中71歲以上的更多達4萬2千人。隨著年紀增長，眼球內的晶狀體開始老化，並慢慢變得混濁。由於晶狀體負責把進入眼球的光線聚焦在視網膜上，功能相等於相機內的鏡頭，如果晶狀體變得混濁，光線便無法聚焦，患者的視力便會因此受到影響。
