Inspired by the amazing Platypus, an egg-laying mammal found in Australia that uses its bill's tiny electroreceptors and mechanoreceptors to catch prey even in murky waters, they have set out to apply the same principle to athletics monitoring. By utilizing different senses, they hope to gain a better understanding of an athlete's movements.
