Volt14 Solutions has created ultra-high performance materials for Li-ion batteries that could potentially double the energy density of mass-produced batteries today. Volt14's anodes will dramatically increase battery energy density by up to 70%, thus reducing range anxiety and $/kWh storage costs by almost 40%. In comparison to other battery material startups, Volt14 uses a wet chemistry technique. This means battery producers can use their current production lines to mass produce Volt14's anodes without any manufacturing issues.
